उजाड़ पेड़ ,


एक उजाड़ पेड़ ! अधड सा पेड़ दिखा ,

उसपर लिपटे दो और पेड़,

तना उस का मजबूत है,

इसीलिए वह गिरा नहीं ,

दोनों पेड़ों ने अपना-अपना स्थान बना लिया,

अपनी आंतों से उलझा लिया,

कोई उपर से कोई नीचे से ,

कोई दायें और कोई बांयें से ,

बस लिपट गई और सिमट गई.

जब नन्ही थी तो फर्क नहीं पड़ा ,

जब बढ़ कर दोनों पेड़ बने,

तो छाती पर मुंग दलने लगे,

सारी ही उर्जा वहीँ तक.

और आगे का हिस्सा सकरा होने लगा.

फिर क्या था !

ऊपर हिस्सा झर-झर झरने लगा ,

अब और उजाड़ भी होने लगा.

ऐसा था वो उजाड़ पेड़..

यह धरती कितनी सुन्दर है.



यह धरती पेट पालती है.


यह सबका जीवन सवांरती है.


यह धरती कितनी सुन्दर है..


यह सात समुद्रों को जोड़े है.


यह सात महादिपों को जोड़े है.


यह विभिन्नताओं से लदी हुई,


यह सब ग्रहों का दम तोड़े है.


यह धरती कितनी सुन्दर है..


कहीं जल की नदियाँ बहती हैं,


कहीं झरनों की कल-कल होती है,


कहीं रंग-बिरंगे पक्षी विचरण करतें है,


कहीं धरती श्वेत-चादर ओढ़े सोती है,


यह धरती कितनी सुन्दर है..


कहीं पेट में खनिजों को पाले है,


कहीं पेट से आग उगाले है,


कहीं छेड़े तो यह झटके है,


कहीं स्वर्ण से भरे मटके हैं,


यह धरती कितनी सुन्दर है..
